I cannot believe I've been gone from LJ for so long... At least, it seems like it's been foreverrrrr.

So I was rereading old stuff I posted, blogs, you know... and I'm pretty annoying, even to myself. Bahaha, sigh. My life, over a year ago. How I have progressed. XDD

Well. I've returned, hopefully a couple people remember me. Off to enjoy the Avatar fandom! Weeeee!

Way too many posts in too short of a time but whatever because OH. MY GOD. NOO!!!

I SAW HARRY POTTER AND MISSED AVATAR! NO NO NO NO!!! I've been waiting for this episode for EVERRRR. The afterglow of HP goodness is now dimmed by the fact that ATLA HAS FINISHED ITS SEASON WITHOUT ME.

Edit: YES!! Nick is repeating the finale on Sunday at 11:00am! I can watch it then and finally contribute to the hustle and madness that is the Avatar buzz.

I love sushi rolls! They have to be one my favorite foods. Actually, I love almost all Asian food; Japanese, Chinese, Mongolian, Tai - it's just so exotic and good. So yeah. I'm eating sushi rolls. YUM.

But that's beside the point.

I've been staying up late a lot recently and it's not good for me at all. Because of course it leaves you with circles under your eyes and makes you unfocussed when you need to get up super early for school and is basically bad for you health. I need to go to sleep earlier. It's five to midnight and I have school early, early, early in the morning.

Anyway, I just joined zhao_and_zula because Zhao/Zula is the shizz. Forever. It's the most kickass pairing in all Avatar fandom. Go join! All the cool kids are doing it. XDDD

I have lots more to write but even though I'm wide awake, it would be very unwise for me to jot all of it down now and take up more time, because I'll be paying for it as it is in the morning. High school requires jarringly annoying alarm clocks waking you up at godaweful o-dark thirty, so...

Another journal tomorrow, (although tomorrow is merely an abstract concept of the idea of the next today. Tomorrow never actually exists, because once you get to tomorrow you've already reached today. But that's just over-analyzed semantics. So yeah.)

I'm completely freaking out because guess what - ABC Family, right now, is playing the version of Peter Pan with Robin Williams. It started at like 9pm, I think. But this is the Peter Pan movie with DANTE BASCO AS RUFIO! He's so cute but so tough and he's so... so... so ZUKO!

*dies*

I sincerely heart Dante Basco, all ages.

Thanksgiving at my house was pretty good. I woke up late, and then basically spent all day cooking with my family. XD Huge, huge turkey, and a ham. Plus candied sweet potatoes, pearl onions in cream sauce, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, green beans, carrots, rolls, apple pie, pumpkin pie. Yummy dinner. It was sort of tense at times though. My dad is not a people person and is hard to get along with; you never know if he'll yell at you or be really nice, and when he yells he's a scary person. Made me cry today.

I just posted the third chapter of Sokka's Guide... hopefully it won't disappoint readers if it's not as funny as the first two chapters.

More in the fanfiction vein: I'm actually in the process of writing a rather angsty fic. I'll post part of it as soon as I can get it done, which might be hard seeing as I may not have computer access (or at least limited access) this weekend. It, like much of my work, will be designed to change the reader's idea of Avatar, or at least attempt to stun them a bit with twists or orginality.

Oh, and I receive a very high honor via e-mail. Whomever and Booter Freak added Sokka's Guide to their list of fics that do not suck. Yay! That'll do, Meghan. That'll do.

Okay, I am thoroughly frustrated.

I was going to make this awesome fanvid - I even downloaded the completely necessary Katara vs Paku fight for it. It was after a small discussion on the avatarfans.net forum where Isaia was opposed to modern American music used in fanvids, seeing as Avatar is predominantly Asian in basically every way, that I decided to go back to Avatar's Asian roots and use music with that theme.

So! I started off with Iroh's Four Seasons Four Loves, because I heart it, naturally... and then I was searched, I swear to God, for like two hours for an oriental song that could flow well with Iroh's. Absolutely nothing. Nothing. They were all too high, or too slow, or had little or no variation.

And is a Sungi horn even a real instrument? Don't even bother to tell me I spelled that wrong, because I know I did.

GAHHH!!!

Today it is raining and it's wet and it's horrible because today was the day that I attempted to straighten my hair for the first time in about a year and a half, and so all it did was frizz up and make me upset. My hair is super curly and blonde. People ask me all the time if I get it dyed and permed, but no! This pretty hair is all natural. And currently all limpish and frizzed and in a ponytail.

I'm home early from school, although not because of my hair disaster. I'm just feeling bad but not in the upset stomach way. I'm like, drained and sleepy and woozy and it was hard for me to concentrate on my schoolwork because my mind was just buzzing.

And here I am on the computer. I want to write. Don't be surprised if avatar_fans and theavatar100 are suddenly full of written nonsense by totallystellar. I never actually thought I was good at writing humor (dark slightly angsty stuff like Name I seem to be pretty good at), but apparently so. *is proudish*

Oh man. Very bad idea, choosing fanfiction over schoolwork. But still, I did it. And I'm very proud of my fanfiction - I actually think it's pretty good. But that's because I'm bad at everything else. My algebra teacher can get over the fact that I didn't finish my evil math homework.

I haven't written in this journal very much, only that one entry previous to this one where I bashed avatar_fans in jive. (Sorry about that...) But I'll start. Just... currently I have very little to say. Except that I'm positively exploding with ideas and inspiration.

Has that every happened to anyone? Been so full of inspiration and just these amazing ideas and concepts and you're so ready express them but it's like they don't come out. They just sit there and simmer all restless and you have to try to sort them in your mind so they don't run together and form a disappointing mess.

Oh well. For not having anything to say, I sure wrote a lot.

Very, very new. My first journal. Hopefully it will be better than bad. I still have to customize my profile some more. Pimp it out, if you will.
